Official rules

Bill Bounty is intended for eligible users in jurisdictions where this activity is lawful. Anyone may search for and physically handle target bills without an account. An account may be required only to submit sightings, claims, or voluntary contributions. Employees, administrators, vendors, and household members may be restricted by final official rules.

No purchase, payment, contribution, or other financial support is required to view hunts, search for bills, submit sightings, submit claims, or receive a finder reward after verified possession. No purchase necessary. No paid entries. No wagers.

Bill Bounty does not use a random drawing, lottery, raffle, or any random selection mechanism. There is no chance-based component. The finder reward is awarded only to the first claimant who successfully proves physical possession of the active target bill and completes verification. The outcome is determined entirely by who physically finds and verifies possession of the matching bill.

Contributions are voluntary bounty support for a specific hunt. They are not deposits, wagers, bets, tickets, entries, investments, or odds-improving purchases. Contributions do not create entries, improve odds or eligibility, affect verification standards, create ownership rights, or guarantee any reward. The only way to receive the finder bounty is to physically find and verify possession of the target bill.

The displayed hunt bounty reflects approved contributions in full-dollar amounts so the public hunt total stays easy to understand. When a verified claim is approved, Bill Bounty applies the published payout policy and platform fee handling during final payout review. Platform fees and processor costs are tracked separately in admin records and are never treated as entries, odds, or random prize mechanics.

A finder must physically possess the exact matching bill for the denomination and serial number target. Screenshots, copied serials, altered bills, stolen images, AI-generated evidence, or second-hand claims are not sufficient.

A valid claim requires: (1) physical possession of the target bill, (2) exact serial number match, (3) denomination match, (4) a clear image of the front of the bill, (5) a clear image of the back of the bill, (6) a close image of the serial number, (7) a one-time verification code displayed beside the bill in a photo or video, (8) admin review, and (9) additional evidence if requested by admin.

Bill Bounty may reject, suspend, disqualify, or investigate: altered images, stolen images, AI-generated evidence, fake claims, duplicate-account abuse, harassment, payment abuse, and attempts to interfere with verification or claim review. Fraudulent submissions may be reported to authorities.

Badges are optional recognition only. They are awarded to acknowledge participation milestones. Badges have no cash value and do not improve odds, eligibility, or any claim priority.

Approved finders are responsible for all applicable taxes and required reporting. Payout information is collected only after preliminary approval and before manual payout review.

Availability may vary by jurisdiction. Bill Bounty is void where prohibited, restricted, or where bonding, registration, translation, or other requirements have not been satisfied.

Admins may pause hunts, lock hunts after verified claims, hide public location precision, reject suspicious activity, and preserve records for disputes or legal review.

Users may contact support to dispute a rejection or claim decision. Bill Bounty will review evidence, audit logs, and policy history before issuing a final administrative decision.
